Michael Harcus was born and raised in the small island of Westray in Orkney. He was raised in a Christian home, and gave his life to the Lord at a young age.
He sat between his granddad and his dad to learn to sing bass in the local Male Voice Choir. He also enjoyed family harmony singing as a young man.
Being the eldest son, and being raised on a farm - Michael left school at the age of 15 to work on the family farm.
In 1998 Michael was persuaded to record some of his own songs.
This led to the launch of his first cd "There Is..." Since then
there have been four more CDs, including 2006's 'One Day I'll
Know'.
Since 1999, Michael has toured extensively throughout Scotland,
and was in Belarus in June 2003 with the charity Servants Aloft Ministries.
